Inside Dental Technology
If editorial design is my bread and butter, Inside Dental Technology would be an extra juicy piece of bacon in the middle. I had the priveledge of holding the position of production artist, designer, and design director from it's inception in 2010 through the following 4.5 years. With templates originally designed my friends at B&G Design Studios, I oversaw a size change and redesign, interactive app, and numerous specialty isusues during my tenure. With industry-leading editorial execution and production value, IDT was tied for 1st-place in readership after just 3 years...amazing!
Designing IDT for nearly 5 years really stretched my conceptual thinking (and paper thin art budget) to the limit, in the best ways possible! The content topic of dental laboraties might seem dull to an outsider, but in reality the dental lab owners are fanatical about their craft, and passion breeds passion in every walk of life.
